This 4 hour tour leaves from the public Pier at Los Muertos Beach in the heart of the Romanic Zone of Puerto Vallarta.
You will be picked up from the Pier by a small open boat called a Panga, and transported the short distance onto the Southwind.
The Southwind and its crew are now at your disposal for the next 4 hours.
You control the itinerary.
If you want:
- You can go snorkeling at the Los Arcos Marine preserve.
- You can stop off at any location accessible by boat, such as at a semi-private beach with no services, or at a public beach with its many bars and restaurants to choose from.
- When the whales are in the bay, you can watch them from the comfort of our large stable yacht with 2 bathrooms.
- You don’t need to go anywhere in particular. Make it your own self-directed ecotour. The Bay of Banderas is full of marine life; whales, dolphins, sea turtles, giant manta rays, and fish of all sizes and colors.
- There are also many types of sea birds, the Pelican with its expandable beak, the perpetually soaring Frigate bird, the blue footed Boobie with its spectacular mass dives from incredible heights, the tiny highly maneuverable Swallow, and many more in between.
The Southwind has many conversation areas where small groups can congregate. There are wide open areas where you can lounge on deck cushions. There are plenty of sunny areas and plenty of shaded areas; your choice.
The only real limitation is your obligation to return the Southwind on time.
If you wish more time, there are other tours available which can give you up to 8 hours.
Other tours are available which can give you different numbers of hours and different locations where you can ask the Southwind to meet you. Choose the tour with a time and a location convenient to you.
